My notes: This whiskey coming from Texas gets that extra texas funk due to the heat it gets aged in. For such a high proof whiskey (high to me anyways) this is still such an easy drinker and so delicious. It is bold, oaky, but still smooth just like a good texas beverage should be. I love this one and constantly find myself going back. Still Austin is a leader of the pack in my book.
